A few years ago I saw this procession in the heart of Copenhagen.
The elephants right there look out of place, so how could I resist ?
The building they are passing in front of is the old Royal Theatre.

At a press conference in Copenhagen that I attended we had a visit from the film maker David Lynch.
I managed to be close enough to get this picture :

Taken with a Canon Powershot Pro 1 – yes, it is that long ago. The camera was fine with enough light, but awful in low light without flash.
This week’s photo was taken through a 200mm mirror telescope (Schmidt-Cassegrain) functioning as a tele objective with my EOS 20D.
A half moon provides a much better photo opportunity than the full moon – the full moon has very little contrast.

At a local Fantasy fair The group of musicians were playing Irish inspired music.
Even if the light was rather low this image was within reach of my old DSLR, an EOS300D with the kit lens.
In particular, I like the concentration on the music that I detect in this image.
